What's good to have for Christmas? Western, of course! Heard of Betty's Midwest lotsa time, with good comments too! So, we headed on to Aman Suria Damansara. There was a crowd indeed. Thinking that we could get a table while waiting for the others to come. But nope. You need to be there, the whole gang, then only they'll give you a table.

No worries tho... you can order while waiting for a table. And once you get the table, it's served in no time. That's what we call good service! So, we started off with Crispy Bacon and Dog Food (yeah you read it right) It was a delicious starter!

And came the Pork Chop with Apple. A little bit on the sweet side but it's alright. The mashed potato was good. Real silky... Mmmmm.....

Must try the Baby Back Ribs! Scrumptious! Just sinful! We got the Classical Meatloaf. Very fulfilling. Won't recommend it if you can't take too much meat tho =) All and all ~ was good!

Got a chance to watch The Tourist premier =) Was expecting a real great show with Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp. I'm not saying that this is not good but I was expecting a little bit more... Come on lah... it's Jolie and Depp!

Well, it's indeed about a tale of a tourist ~ Frank. He's visiting Italy to mend his broken heart and crosses path with Elise. She on the other hand was being watched by the British government and gangster because of her boyfriend ~ Alex. Wanted by the government because of tax evasion and wanted by the gangster because he stole 2 billion from them. And he's MIA. One link ~ her girlfriend, Elise.

How did Frank got entangled into this? You gotta watch to find out. There is a little bit twist on this =) Story was good but I was really expecting more...

Halo | Sunny Sunny Day

It was a real~real HOT day at Desa Parkcity when they decided to have a photo shoot... So, there we were 4 of us, running around the playground under the HOT sun. It was a laugh actually. The model a.k.a Bubu was having a little bit problem posing. And her manager, Ney was trying his "best" to help... I shall not disclose on how did he help her. *hehehehehe*

All have their seats nicely under my very own Christmas tree at home =) My un-conventional Christmas tree. Nice?

Another year coming to end soon. When it's time for 'tong yuen', it's real near. I always wonder how come every year's 'tung jit' falls on the same date ~ 22nd December. I thought it follows the Lunar calender.

But no matter when it is, it is a time to spend with family. This year is different for me as I spent it with his family too =)

1 word ~ SCARY. Went to this place called ATV Adventure Park. ATV = All-terrain vehicle. What to do there? Ride the vehicle, of course! And it's not on a flat road! It's on a bumpy terrain along the woods!

After a scary ride ~ not by myself though. The trainer said I'm too dangerous to ride alone =_=" So, as I was saying... At the end of the journey, there's this beautiful waterfall =) Not bad! Not bad!

All and all it was cool. Was scary but was fun. Do try it!

All was wondering how will Aarif Lee do as Bruce Lee. Well, I can give him about 70% ...

Not too shabby... He's HOT! I mean sizzling HOT! He does look like Lee Hom, doesn't he? I first saw him as Desmond in Echoes of the Rainbow with Simon Yam and Sandra Ng. Nice movie too! And did I mentioned that he's HOT? Hehehehe...

Well, Bruce Lee My Brother is another perspective of Bruce Lee's life. From his younger brother's eyes, Robert Lee. This is a story of Bruce's family from his young days till we was sent off to USA.

So, you won't be getting a lot of kung-fu fighting here. But you will see the mischievous kid he was, the first love he had, the best buddies he had.

I personally liked this. If you are looking for gung-ho kung-fu fighting of Bruce Lee, I think you better skip this. But if you want to know about Bruce's past, this is the one =)

Your normal fairy tale? Think again! This Rapunzel is gonna rock your world. What we all know that there's this girl with long hair that stays in a hidden tower. Well, that was what I know.

But you can always guess that every fairy tale has a happy ending. I would love to see this again. There was not a dull moment at all =) Love the feisty Rapunzel and the smouldering look of Flynn Ryder. A must see =)

It was a hot hot day. Gotta keep me from getting heatstroke. Glug! Glug! Glug!


I think I was a bit lost at one point. Hmmm.... Where on earth am I?

Never thought that this would be a good movie to watch! THE SOCIAL NETWORK is a must see if you're a FB fanatics or die-hard programmer.

I think you should all know this is about Facebook and the founders. Yes, Mark Zuckerberg. A true story on how FB started. There might be some added on fiction into it tho.

So, it all started with a girl. Mark's girlfriend that became his ex. With the anger he had, he started a page called Facemash with his friend Eduardo, that compares girls in the uni. Which was a hit and that made a lot of girls hated him! Soon enough he had an idea of social network and a revolution of communication ~ Facebook was born. But it seems that he had stolen this idea from Winklevoss brothers.

That was sue case #1. Then, when FB became hot Mark kinda kicked off his best friend Eduardo out. This is sue case #2. Yeap. Mark was being sued twice because of FB. But he's still the youngest billionaire in the world =)

I must say this is a good movie =)

Halo | Early Xmas Gift

Look what I got! An early Christmas gift? Hehehehe... Weng got me a Bucks coffee tumbler =) Too bad that there is no Bucks around my office now... Sigh!

I got him an early Christmas gift too! Something that he would want and use too!


Crumpler camera starp. He used to complain that his camera strap was giving neck pain. So cham... So, I got him this. I know he would love to have a Crumpler camera bag but $$$. Settle for the camera strap first ya? =) HOHOHO!

Halo | Full Saturday

Remember that I posted a few weeks back that I had an un-eventful Saturday? Well, I had a FULL Saturday this week!

Since Weng was occupied with his company activities, I ended up with morning karaoke at LOUD SPEAKER at Kota Damansara. Not bad! The environment is better than Teo Heng Karaoke. Food OK. Price cheap! I'm surely to come again =)

Then, the plan was to go shopping at 1U. But before that, a pit-stop at Wondermilk for a cuppa latte, muffins and hickory dickory wings! Lovely, just lovely!

Off we go for a shopping spree in 1U. But I didn't get anything lar. OY and WF managed to grab some shoes tho =)

As I was thinking, WOW that was a full Saturday. Then I bumped into Ah Ney =) And hey! Dinner was in plan with Weng on board as well. Fhew! Tired but happy with all the 'exercise' I got =p

Food | Yen Shabu Shabu

There is a new shabu shabu place in Menjalara, Kepong ~ YEN SHABU SHABU. They have ala-carte as well as buffet! RM29.80. Comparing to "chang chang guen", I think here have better selection. Atmosphere wise ~ YEN does looks like a canteen =p But food is good and few selections of soups! I love the pepper soup!

Situated on the main road, smacked between Shell and Mobil. You can't miss it. It's above Old Town Coffee. Do try it! Eat all you can!

Wohoo! It's worth the 4 hours queue! Yes. I'm crazy =p

I reached SOGO at about 9.30am and the queue was like a snake! But thank GOD there is a 'Express Lane' for Citibank cardholders. There was about 20 people in front of me. I was thinking this should be OK. But then... I did queue up for 4 hours.

Imagine those who came late. So, Express Lane my FOOT! I'm not sure it's because of TicketCharge? Or Citibank? Or P1? Hahahaha. I saw them using P1 to access the net. My patience was running thin. But for JAY, I must, I must get it!

Supossedly I was thinking to get it online via the Citibank Clear Card special deal. But 'thanks' to TicketCharge which could not support the overwhelming rush with their server. My wish to get the best seats was dashed! HMPH! Then I have no choice but to get it from the launch day itself.

But when I finally got hold on my tickets, all those anger has subsided =) Didn't get the seats I wanted but HEY! I got the second best lah =)

So, JAY CHOU ~ here I come! March 5th ~ 'pat kin pat san'!

Screen | HP7 The Deadly Hallows

THE END BEGINS...

That was a long wait for the last HP to come out. But just for the first part.... Second part will be out next year July. Another long wait.

So, let'ts talk about The Deadly Hallows ~ Part 1. As if you haven't read it before? =p This is the darkest hour for the wizards. With Dumbledore gone, Voldemort and the gang are going on full force to take out the good guys. I think this is no new news for you fans out there.

What I can say is this was made beautifully. Director David Yates really done a great job in portraying the book on to the screen. I'm really anticipating for Part 2. I keep on wondering why on earth that he broken The Deadly Hallows into 2? Make more money? Hmmm....

Anyway, I think it's about time that the 3 grown-ups to move on with their careers. I mean to another level. Not just stuck to Harry Potter. Sooner or later we have to bid goodbye to Harry, Ron and Hermione. Let's just savour it =)

Halo | Holidays ~ Holidays ~ where are you?

Wishing there was a holiday waiting for me. Well, that's just wishing, right? But with all the sales going on with MAS and AA I could say that it was really tempting! My wish to visit Melbourne remains as a wish in my wish list. Hmmmm....

Fret not. Got myself a trip to China but it will be way next year... Better than nothing right? So, tell me what's good in Shanghai? =)

Halo | The Era 2011 World Tour ~ Jay Chou

Need I say anymore? I am so excited about this! JAY IS BACK! On the 4th and 5th March 2011 @ Bukit Jalil! Wohoo! But I must say the ticket price has really gone up. Weng made it clear that he won't be joining me this time. =( So, I have to gather other fanatics to join me. Normally I would join the fans club ~ myJaysian. But this time, they chose the Rock Zone and VVIP which is about RM700++ *sigh...*

I'm aiming for the RM480 or RM330 seats. Tickets will be on sale on the 27th November. So, I still have a little bit of time to consider. Anyone wants to join me?
