Halo | Up ~ Up ~ And ~ Away

Nope... I did't made it to the hot air balloon ride. By the time I reach Putrajaya, which was at 8ish. The tix was all taken. Nevermind, it wasn't a trip around Putrajaya. It's like taking an elevator up ~ 3 levels, I think. For RM10, what would you expect leh?

Not many nice hot air balloon ~ except for Darth Vader. Which I nearly missed. Overall, I think this is not my scene =(

But I did managed to test the Lomo camera. First time user ~ what do you think?

Halo | New Toy

Well, technically, it's not my new toy. It's his new toy. Would be test-driving it tomorrow at the 2nd Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon fiesta.

Something similar to Lomo camera. Will have the same effect, as seen from the photo sample. White Slim Angel is the name ~ sounds so angelic! Well, it comes from Japan. He got it from http://galagalastore.blogspot.com/ Cost: RM110.

Has a few colours to choose ~ Blue, Yellow, Black, Silver and Gold. Check it out here http://galagalahome.blogspot.com/2009/05/ultra-wide-slim.html Besides that, there are a whole lot more to see. Don't worry, the guy behind this is very nice =)

Getting the film is a laugh. Getting a memory stick is easier compared to getting normal film. And those shops kinda give me a 'look'. Anyway, we will experiment on normal film first before moving to those expired or special films. Look at the viewfinder. It does bring back a lot of memories =P

Another weird thing is to wait for it to develop. Can't see our work right after each snap. Ahhh. The waiting period... So, we shall see what it looks like =)

Screen | Remember Me *of coz!*

Ahhh Edward... I mean Tyler.... Hahahaha. Don't get confused. It's not a Twilight movie. It's just Robert Pattinson... Ahhhh...

And no, this is not based on a book by Cecelia Ahern's Remember Me. It's a totally different story.

Well, not as clean shaved look as Edward but still have the charm =) Wait a minute... I should be talking about the movie not about him... Hehehe. Focus! Focus!

This is a slow love story about Tyler and Ally. Tyler deals with divorced parents and brother's suicide, lived gloomily up till he met Ally. It wasn't those great love story that you'll cry till the end but it's very meaningful story about a guy wanting to put things right with the family. But I have to tell you this, the end is not happy. Now I know why it's called REMEMBER ME =)

OK.OK. He got the Edward imprinted all over him, rite?

Screen | Alice in Wonderland

Not your ordinary fairy tale for Alice in Wonderland. With the Red Queen taken over Wonderland, all was chaotic. Gloomy, lifeless, sad place. Not a bit of Wonderland at all. Alice was needed to save the land as it was seen in the scroll where she will slay the Jabberwocky, dragon kinda thingy. Yoalu'll see lotsa funny names along the way.

But Alice not being a young child anymore, was thinking it was all a nightmare like the ones she had when she was little. Pinching herself, trying to wake up was no help at all. She needs to be the one to slay the Jabberwocky on Frabjous Day (something like Independence Day, I think)

To 3D or not to 3D, that is the question. Well, I watched it without 3D as some friends did say it made no difference. If you are hoping for something like Avatar 3D, you won't find it here.

As for the movie, maybe I was expecting it to be MORE. But it's actually a LESS for me. But I still adore Johnny Depp =)

Screen | Nine

Well, well... This wasn't planned at all. Was hoping to grab a cheap tix movie at Cineleisure on Wednesday with Citibank B1F1. Selection was down to Book of Eli and Nine. And as you can see it ended up with Nine.

According to the review, it's a drama/musical. Ok... Thinking of something like Moulin Rouge. And it has Nicole Kidman in it. Ok.... Then being late half hour for the movie, I was a bit lost. At first glance, it looks like some hi-class "yellow movie". =P

Second glance, hmmm. A little bit of SX18 lah. But still alright. As as expected, singing would just pounce out of nowhere. Guido, a famous film director are running out of ideas for movies. Adding to that, he's entangled in his relationship with his wife, mistress and a whole lot more. And that's just about it.

Some might say it's good, some might say ermm.... But it depends on what kinda angle your looking with. So, I leave this with you to decipher=)

Food | Ninja Joe

Feeling porky? Head to Ninja Joe @ Tropicana City Mall. Non-Halal burgers galore! Muahahaha! It's a cute little restaurant that serve cute little PORK burgers. A few choices of flavour ~ Black Pepper, Spicy, Sweet & Sour, etc.

One drawback, it's very petite. I think it can last 3-4 bites. But it comes in a value pack of multiple burgers. You can have the 2 burgers combo, 3 burgers combo! And yes, you can mix and match the flavours you like. Kudos to the meat patty! Love the texture!

Comes with fries and a drink. But the price... erm... not that cheap lah. Where else can you get fast pork burgers? I miss Thailand McD, Korea McD and Japan McD where PORK burgers are available.

Halo | Walked the Walk

What a meaningful and tired day! Woke up 5.45am to walk for WALK FOR SCHOOLS organized by Tesco. Actually the walk doesn't start at 8am but need carpool there. So, there I am at Dataran Merdeka at 7.30am!

What is Walk for School? It's a charity walk to donate money for school. There are a lot of charitable people out there. Participants are not just school-goers but also adults that I don't think they are parents accompanying their children.

Off we go for the 4.5km walk!

As per the itinerary, the 1st walker to arrive at 8.30am. Which is about 30 minute walk for 4.5km. Woah! Well, I didn't do that bad. I reached the finish line at 9.00am. 1 hour, not bad, eh? Got a cert to prove that I walked the walk! =)

The joy to see the finishing line!

Screen | 72 Tenants of Prosperity

Finally got a chance to see a CNY movie. Well, which is after the CNY. Haih... Been so busy with work and home, hardly have time to catch a movie. So tired.

SO! 72 Tenants of Prosperity. Whole lot of people in it. Most are from TVB. Besides Jacky Cheung, Eric Tsang and Anita Yuen, you'll get to see Bosco Wong and Raymond Lam too. It has about 180 stars. Imagine if each star has a minute of the screen. But this movie is about 1 1/2 hour. So, you have a split second to see your favourite star.

There isn't much a storyline to tell. The basic values stuff that normally CNY movies tries to show. Like being nice to your neighbours, trusting, etc. A nice harmonious movie, I shall say
