Halo | How can people survive traffic jam?

Me being a hero ~ went down to KL town to give invitation cards. And of all days ~ it rained! And when you have KL town + rain = super duper JAM! Arrrggghhhh! Me being alone in the car ~ maiden trip to KL ~ feet cramping =(

Really salute to those that stuck in hours of jam to get to work and coming back home. SALUTE!

Halo | Rulez

Wow! Talk about following traditional customs... So many rules to follow, so many tiny details to endure. It's not an easy job to please everyone. Getting the items for the 'Guo Dai Lai' ~ to receive what, to return what... What to prepare for the night before and on the big day...

But he have said ~ it's like managing a project. Following timeline, bugging people to follow timeline, making checklist, checking and re-checking... Fuh! Can become a project manager! LOL!

Open question: To follow traditional customs or not? Tough one eh?

Screen | Ice Kacang Puppy Love

Another local made movie. Was this triggered by Woohoo! Tiger? Hmmm..... So, Ice Kacang Puppy Love was directed by our very own Ah Niu. With the help of his famous friends ~ Angelica Lee Sin Jie, Gary Chaw and Victor Wong ~ made this movie a little bit more famous.

Remember your puppy love days? When you saw this kid and your heart skips a beat faster? That is puppy love =) Some might have married their puppy love ~ some might just grew out of it. This movie captures that moment. The sweet~sweet~sour~sour~bitter~bitter feeling.

Now, don't think that this is just a sappy love story. It's a laugh too! Using the good ol days language. Those who studied in Chinese school should know. I being a 'banana' also know some of the slang, ya! So, you feel the familiarity watching this =)

Kudos to Angelica! She's a real actress and you can see it clearly among the others. But I think Nicholas Teo appearance was a bit too forceful. Purposely put him in a few minutes. Hahaha. Anyway, I think it's a good watch. But I like Woohoo! better.

Halo | Cute Tee

I have 1 friend that just became mummy and 1 friend became daddy. Congrats to them both! Remember that I've introduced Baby Jake earlier? He got his tee, freshly from the mailbox. And here is to Enn Zee...

Fancy to give your mom/dad-to-be friends something special? Here you go! Just go to this site http://myhoneybb.blogspot.com/ Besides Personalized Tee, they offer other cute baby stuff too! Some are real nice. Not just buying baby hampers for your friends, try out something that's personalized =)

Halo | Got my album!

Got a call from Keep Gallery today! Yeay! Album is ready for collection! I am excited! But come to think of it, I've seen all the photos dozens of time and know how will the album look like. But I'm still excited to have a look.

So, quickly got off work and went to pick it up. We didn't went with the conventional package where there have a large album and a medium album. We just took 1 album and they gave us a mini album free =)

I wouldn't want to be a spoil brat here. Just let you have sneak peek at the album =p Both big and mini album. I am satisfied with the albums! It looks great!

Besides the albums, got 1 big framed photo and 3 table top framed photos. Oh Oh! And 80 4R jimui photos.

OK. Wedding Photos ~ checked!

Halo | Cards Done ^ ^

Wokey! See ~ see ~ don't have much time, eh? Count ~ count ~ OMG! Not much weekends left to do stuff! *stay calm! stay calm!*

OK! Got my cards ready. Guest list ~ checked! And got all friend's cards ready to be delivered and posted. One hurdle down. Now, need to contact and deliver. That's a tough one!

I think I've posted up the card earlier. It's actually a vertical card. Not those traditional 'ang~ang' colour =p And since the card is bronze, you won't be pairing it up with a pink envelope. Hence, the beige envelope. Too dull? Parents say no red? Just stamp it with a double happiness! Nice touch, I must say. Hahahaha!

Food | Shabu Shabu

A very comfortable steamboat place in Puchong. With RM27 (inclusive tax), you can eat all you want!. Woohoo! Named as simple as it can be ~~ Restaurant Shabu Shabu *Chang Chang Guen*

I have no idea why it's called Shabu Shabu at the first place. Maybe it's because you have an individual pot rather than the traditional 1 pot for all. So, talking back about this place. It's like walking into a sushi bar ~ with the small plates on the conveyor belt. But it's not sushi, it's fishballs, mushrooms, veggie, meatballs and whole lot of other steamboat ingredients!

Looks like Sushi King

Boiling hot shabu shabu pot!

You can eat all you can! Yes! But do leave some tummy space for this thinly sliced pork. It's really GOOD! Just wave a few seconds in the pot and TADA! Yummylicious! Must eat item!

BURP! It's worth the journey. For sure will come back soon. But remember to call for reservation =)

Halo | Jelly O

This was taken by my W800i! Yes, it's true =) Well, it wasn't without any help. =p

Have a look at the Jelly Lens! It can stick on the phone as an additional lens. I used the Starburst lens. So, it does work. But the lens is quite small. Make sure that the lens sticks perfectly within the camera lens of the handphone. Else you'll see the edge of the lens on the photo.
I got 4 types ~~ Starburst, Wide Angle, Close Up and Spark. I have not experiment on all lens yet. But my fav is the Starburst!
Where did I get it? http://galagalahome.blogspot.com/2010/01/jelly-lens.html

Halo | Timeline

I've been MIA for a while. But now I'm back on a timeline for the big day. Seems like thousand of stuff need to be done and not much weekends are left. So, hope that I have enough time to settle the stuffs.
