Halo | What's happening so far?

KAY KAY of coz! Let's just say that now my world revolves around her. Not that I stopped working. I'm still working full time. But fortunately, work is still bearable ^^

So, where do I start? First time? There are too many first time to even to begin with. I think the one that nearly made me cry was her first step! OMG! That was really something!

Looking at my last post. It was one year ago! I need to start my typing back! Not that I have a lot of readers. Heck, I might don't have any reader at all =) But this is a place where I can leave my mind blank and type whatever!

Halo | Today is just not my day!

Well. Today started off all wrong... Sigh...

Already woke up late. He doesn't want to wake up. Adding on the lateness. Then Kay Kay refused to drink her milk. 3 oz. breast milk down the drain.

On the way, checking my FB. Read about another robbery case at Publika, our normal hang-out place. Sigh. So scary. A friend of mine commented: time to migrate? Then he say; "last time ask you want to migrate, you say don't want". Am I sensing some blaming here? =(

Off to work, seeing the time thinking there won't be jam. What do you know, jam like *tut*

Well, hope tomorrow, Friday will treat me better =)

Hi!!! It's Kay Kay here again ^^ Snooping around Mummy's blog again. I remembered that I promised to share more photos, especially with Daddy's DSLR. Here you go...

I think my blog will be featuring Kay Kay a lot. Hmmm.... Need to head back to foods and other stuff soon. Else, myself will also get bored with my blog =p

So, what we have today. Kay Kay flipped her first book! OMG! That's after he taught her =) It's this little little things that would really make my day. Love looking at her trying new things =)

Halo | Latest updates

I've not been updating my blog. Been so busy with Kay Kay and starting to work. Need to juggle all the timings. Even our normal outings with friends are limited nowadays. I'm not complaining, NO! I love spending time with Kay Kay. We are training her to our outings. Meeting friends ~ go here and there. She seems to be OK with it ^^

Halo | Missing her...

Today is her second day at nanny's. I miss her a lot. Despite the feeding and changing diapers. I miss her eyes gazing into mine. I miss her cheeky smile. Sigh... Yesterday was easier to go by as I got errands to run. But today, taking things easy before I start work next month, the day seems long till I go fetch her...

Halo | Wash hair

I have never been so happy about washing my hair till today. I finally completed my 1 month confinement! Woohoo!!! Still using hot water infused with ginger but HEY! I can use shampoo and body shampoo! I wanted to bath longer but aunty wants me to bath faster. Easy "masuk angin". Well, I'm happy enough.

But this also marks that aunty is leaving. She's leaving us tomorrow after Kay Kay's full moon. I'm still worried. But still I have to move on. Can't be relying on other people, right?

So, Kay Kay, please be nice to mummy ok? ^^

Halo | Outings

Well, well... I think it will be a while for my next outing. Going out would be a major task with Kay Kay around.

But I don't think that would stop us for too long. You know us, we can't really stand still I hope Kay Kay will be able to join our outings ^^

Halo | Confinement ending soon

Wow! Another Sunday. Next Sunday there will be no more Yong Jie, my confinement lady. I'm happy that the confinement is ending. Meaning that I can wash my hair and go out. But worried that I cannot handle Kay Kay by myself. But hey! Need to keep a positive mind! So, wish me luck in the last week of my confinement to train myself to change diapers, bath her, feed her, etc. I can do this!!! ^^

Halo | New role

It's been 3 weeks as a MOM now. Looking at my blog entry, I've been busy. Luckily I have Yong Jie, my confinement lady to help out. However, I'm really scared of the day when she leave us. I hope I can handle Kay Kay =)

I'll share photos of her soon. I still have to rest a lot. And yes, confinement is a pain but it's a must. While I'm counting the days to become a full-time MOM, I'm also counting the days to have my hair washed! Yes. I'm smelly. I can take herbal baths but no hair washing. Ewww!!!

Halo | 5th April 2012 ~ Hello world ^^

That would be my princess first word I she could speak ^^ Yup! I have delivered my princess on Thursday, 5th April. Today, is her 3rd day ^^ I can't put the whole experience here yet coz I'm still in the hospital. No worries both of us are OK. Hopefully can be discharge today. Will update soon ^^

So, I'm a mom now ^^ A new chapter of my journey...

Halo | New hair ^^

What do you think?

I've strike off a lot from my TO-DO list before I pop. One of it is to have my hair cut. Won't be visiting my stylist for a while after baby comes. The first thing my stylist said to me "What did you do to your hair?!" Actually, he always says that to me =p

So, got my hair done with treatment as well. So good of him to think of me forbidden to wash hair during my confinement. The treatment was to reduce hair oil and dandruff =) So sweet of him.

Now, it's a week + to go! Excited? Worried? Scared? Tell me about the hurricane of emotions! Whatever is it, we just can't wait to have her little fingers squeezing our finger =)

Food | Morganfield's

Nice ribs to intro! Sticky Bones @ Morganfield's, Pavilion. Tried the normal flavored and the peppercorn. I personally liked the peppercorn ^^ A tinge of spicy ^^ It comes in half rack @ RM36.90 (lunch set). Not too sure what's the price for ala-carte. The lunch set comes with fries, coleslaw and bottomless drink. Quite worth it.

Well, besides the ribs, there are other stuff which I have yet to try. Lunch set starts from RM16.90. But only valid on weekdays..... I still have time to try some before I pop =)

So, head on down to Pavilion to gnaw on some ribs. *heard that it's better than Chicago Ribs in 1U, I haven't tried that also. hehehe*

Screen | One for the Money

When I was thinking "That's it, no more movie at the cinema for me". Then suddenly got some free tix to watch One for the Money staring Katherine Heigl. Well, not one of the "I want to watch this movie kinda thingy" But it's free. Hehehe.

Stephanie Plum is divorced and out of job. Trying to get back on her feet, she took any job that she could including as a bounty hunter. And the first client she got was her x-flame during her high school. It was ugly back then. So, it was kinda pay-back time.

It was a romantic kinda movie with a dash of action in it. OK OK lah.

Halo | Got Milk?

Yes! *well, I hope so =p* Being a mom, you try to give what's the best for your baby. So, I'm very gung-ho to breastfeed my baby. We went all the way to Sri Petaling to attend a talk about it. http://www.lovebreastfeeding.com/breastfeeding-class.html Which I find it was very informative. The talk hosted by a mother of four, Gina Yong. She has a book too! The whole 4 hours talk cost RM129.

Baby now can hear our conversation, move with the music I listen, kick when I watch movies =) So, got a kiddy CD. Listening to it... hmmm... not sure is the thing for baby or not. I've been letting her listen to instrumental music. Which I think it's better =) But it's good for the later years =p Else I'll just give her to listen to Jay Chou and Jacky Cheung. Yeay!
