Halo | Photo Selection

Am going to have my final photo selection later today. I hope it won't take too long as we've filtered it twice. I really wanted to share some with you on my selected ones but it would ruin the surprise, rite? How about the ones that didn't went through our magnifying glasses?

Well, some have to go, some have to stay. Can't afford to have em' all =(

Within days my cards are ready. Not bad eh? At least I can mark checked on my TO DO LIST =) So, now need to re-confirm the guest list. Don't want it to be chaotic later. I've tried my best to squeeze my close friends into the small list. Hope everything goes well =)

Halo | Backdates

Some backdates of stuff here. See the gooey stuff below? It's a healthy drink from my colleague, Mark. I was thinking what on earth he's buying me when he asked whether I wanted something healthy to drink. And TADA! It's wheat grass CONCENTRATED! From Juice Works.

Well, it tasted like grass. MOOOOOO!!!!!! It comes with a slice of orange to rinse out the grass taste. Not bad actually...

Ok. Talking back to human food, I went to a Japs BBQ restaurant with my colleagues. Called Momotalo @ Desa Sri Hartamas. My boss was buying so... we had plum wine. Yummy!

The food was nice especially the lamb. Must try! But I have to say that the variety of meat was not that much. There was no pork. BOOO!!!

The service was good. No need us to cook ourselves. Got chef to do the work. Hehehe. And it's very hygienic too. The metal tray was changed a few times. No worries of eating burnt carbon.

It's worth a try!

Halo | All In Order

Things are doing fine with the preparations. Got the photos and taking our time to choose it. Well, we did narrow it down from 200+ to 78! Then we can have Keep Gallery to do their stuff. Here's a sneak preview......

Invitation cards are in printing process. Should be getting it by this week. Yeay! We still have yet to choose the wedding dishes coz the new year menu is not out yet. Our wedding reception hall has been changed to a bigger one. Hehehe.

Screen | Saw 4 Only

First on my plate was LITTLE BIG SOLDIER. I wanted to see others but all movies are so packed except this one. I wondered why? It has Jackie Chan and Lee Hom. These 2 should be the pull-factor.

How did I found it? It's funny, actually. With Jackie as the Little Soldier, the coward soldier trying all ways to survive even without dignity. Lee Hom was the Big Soldier, the General, the one that 'i die for my country' type. So, serious! Even during the NGs' he didn't crack a laugh.

Next on the line was Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. That was a mouthful!

I know this is not a CNY movie. But I liked it! The story goes saying that Zeus's lightening bolt was stolen and with this he wants to start a war with the Gods. Percy, a human aka Poseidon's son. Yeap. He's half human and half God! He was framed as the thief. He needs to find the bolt and return back to Zeus to prevent the war and get back his mom from Hades. Good watch ~ good watch!

Finally got to see Donnie Yen! He's so cool in 14 Blades! Aka 'Gam Yee Wai'. It's a secret task force during the Qing Dynasty to service the Emperor and is above all laws. But Donnie (Qing Long, the best of the best) was betrayed and hunted by his own brothers. You CANNOT miss this!

Movie marathon of the day ~ True Legend. Aka 'Sou Hat Yee' If it's not for Jay Chou, I won't be seeing this. But he was just as a special appearance. If you really plan to watch this, do watch this first before watching 14 Blades. This is totally different. The fighting scenes are good but the story are a bit normal. And I didn't know that Drunken Fist was from 'Sou Hat Yee'. Hmmm... Think twice before watching this.

What to watch next? Valentine's Day, 72 Tenants of Prosperity. A maybe for All's Well End's Well Too 2010.

Halo | Some People

Been busy with CNY that I didn't have time for blog entries. Most people would ask "how was your CNY?" Well, I can say this year was not the best. So much things that happened really shows the true colours of some people. Where this some people are so thick-faced that as their thick S. These some people that I really do not wish to see them at all as I feel disgusted by them. Eeeewww! In summary, these some people are two-faced ~ money-minded ~ selfish ~ and the list can go on and on. Yuck!

Halo | When is the next holiday?

I yearn for sandy beach ~ sunny day or cooling mountain ~ lazying around. Ahhh.... With just the CNY coming next weekend and no more holidays for a few months, there's really nothing else to look forward to ~ besides preparing for my big day.

I'm still looking for the big day's photographer. Hoping to seal this up by this weekend. Oh ya! Finally Chris called ~ saying my photos are ready for selection! Woohoo!!! Just need to go collect the softcopy and choose carefully =) Well, that's something to look forward to.
